what about covid?
what are your values?
do you require a retainer or deposit?
do i need to have a date set to book?
As much as we all want COVID to be over, fact of the matter is that it's still very much a thing and affecting everyone left + right. We follow all state and local laws and guidelines regarding wedding ceremonies + receptions.
If you have to change/reschedule your date after you've booked due to COVID, I totally get it.
All of your payments made towards your invoice will transfer to your new date as long as it's within 1 year from the original booked date. If you have to postpone more than a year later from your original date, a new non-refundable retainer is required for the new date.
If you decide to change your location to one that is in a different state/region, you can upgrade your package to the package that aligns with that region.*For example: moving location from the PNW to East Coast.*
If you need to cancel your wedding, the cancelation policy applies as outlined in the contract.
ANY + ALL LOVE IS WELCOME
to support couples to make the choice to have a wedding day that is entirely their own.
to help couples create an intentional experience that focuses on the intimate and meaningful connections while celebrating their commitment to each other in a unique and authentic way.
to empower couples to choose to celebrate their union in a way that is down to earth, stress free and without restriction.
to give couples the choice to say no to tradition and be true to themselves by choosing to celebrate in a way that reflects who they are.
to be open and honest and respectful of the vulnerability, emotion and intention behind the way they get married.
to be mindful of the values in which their wedding day takes place and to foster an environment of equity and inclusion.
a safe place where couples can love wildly without fear of judgment.
To get your date on my calendar, for any wedding: a 25% non-refundable retainer is required to make it official! I give my couples the option to pay their retainer in one or two payments. For all other sessions, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required.
I also offer payment plans on all elopement packages to make it as stress-free financially as possible. You have the option to set up a flexible payment plan as well as set up automatic payments towards your invoice.
Surprisingly no! If you have a time of the year you're thinking of eloping or if you are totally flexible. I'm here to help you decide on the best time of year based on location, climate, weather, etc. Many couples choose to elope during a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds when it comes to locations in national parks and popular locations.
I am a total animal lover and love when my couples want to include their fur baby in their day. I'll help make sure we pick a location that's pet friendly because our pups are an important part of our family.
can i bring my dog?
what is your editing style?
My editing style is consistent with what you see on my website and instagram. Since every session is different based on location, weather, lighting, etc- I hand edit every image from your day for consistency. If it's a bright and sunny day, you'll see some photos are naturally going to be warmer versus photos from a darker or rainy day may be cooler toned. My inspiration for my work is heavily influenced by film and the nostalgia it embodies.
when will we get our photos?
I take my time with every photo from your day, giving you only the best images. On average I spend 18-30 hours editing your gallery. My turn around time is 8-10 weeks for weddings and 4-6 weeks for couples and adventure sessions.
IF YOU HELP US PLAN, ARE YOU ALSO A PLANNER?
Part of what we offer in our packages is planning assistance. This includes helping you create your vision board, whether you have an aesthetic or theme you're going for- we make sure we help you achieve it. We use your vision board to help recommend vendors that align with what you want for your day as well as assisting with finding you the perfect location. I also offer full service planning just as an elopement planner would which can be added to your package. Full service planning includes communication with vendors (on my part) and more.
how far in advance should we start planning or book you?
With COVID, most couples have had to postpone their weddings/reschedule dates. Our couples typically tend to begin the planning process and book us 9-12 months in advance, however we allow bookings up to 24 months in advance. Since this past year has been wild, we have had couples book us with as little as 2 months before their elopement. We've seen it all and have no problem bringing your elopement to life in a short amount of time. We allow bookings for any day of the week and generally recommend couples to book during the weekdays as many folks want an intimate and less crowded experience which can sometimes be hard to accomplish on a weekend in more popular locations such as Zion or Yosemite due to tourism.
as an elopement guide, are you an outdoor guide?
We use the term guide because we are here to guide you through the elopement planning process. We help with everything under the sun for making your day go off without a hitch! We are not certified outdoor guides, however we can assist with directing you to professional guides for things you might want to do on your elopement such as skydiving, rafting, climbing and more. We are firm believers that you should only work with a certified professional for these kind of activities as they can be high-risk and are happy to partner with them to incorporate these activities into your elopement day.
