How does COVID change things?
When should I book you?
I've had couples book me anywhere from 3 weeks to 16+ months before their date. However, I don't book more than 24 months in advance. The further you book in advance, the more time you'll have to plan. In my opinion, the sweet spot for booking is anywhere from 9-12 months out; allowing you to stay on track and progress through planning without large gaps.
For couples wanting to postpone or cancel their elopement, there may or may not be a rescheduling or cancelation fee to move your date and/or change plans as the process for postponing your elopement will depend on several factors and is evaluated on a case by case basis.
Do I have to hike to have an adventure elopement?
Do I need to have a date picked out to book?
Absolutely not! Having an adventure elopement is about celebrating your commitment by forgoing tradition and creating a wedding day that is entirely your own. Adventure elopements are for couples that want a day focused on their connection, where they can celebrate in ways that feel authentic to them. Adventure elopements allow couples to create a unique wedding experience that reflects their personalities and values. The adventurous part of eloping is choosing to enjoy a unique wedding experience that puts your love first.
Surprisingly no! If you have a time of the year you're thinking of eloping or if you are totally flexible. I'm here to help you decide on the best time of year based on location, climate, weather, etc. Many couples choose to elope during a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds when it comes to locations in national parks and popular locations.

Can I still add coverage after I've already signed my contract & paid my retainer?
What type of package do I need?
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to elopements. The type of coverage you will need for you day is going to be entirely dependent on your wants & needs for your day and other factors such as desired locations, accessibility, privacy, etc. We'll have the chance to discuss timelines and what your vision for your day exists of and I'll be honest with what I think would best suit your needs.
Absolutely! I will never have two elopements on the same day and am always willing to add more coverage to your day. The cost for adding additional coverage is priced hourly. There may be additional expenses with changing the coverage such as flight changes, accommodations and travel arrangements. To avoid additional fees, I recommend adding coverage as soon as possible so we have enough time to alter our plans accordingly.
When will we receive our gallery?
Do you require a retainer?
After your elopement, you'll receive a handful of sneak peeks generally within 72 hours of your day. I take my time while I work through your photos in order to provide you with the best of the best from your day and on average spend 30-50 hours editing each elopement. The current turnaround time for galleries is 8-12 weeks during peak seasons (May-Oct) and 6-10 weeks during the off season.
To get your date on my calendar, for any wedding: a 25% non-refundable retainer is required to make it official! I give my couples the option to pay their retainer in one or two payments. For all other sessions, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required.
I also offer payment plans on all elopement packages to make it as stress-free financially as possible. You have the option to set up a flexible payment plan as well as set up automatic payments towards your invoice.
Do you charge travel fees?
My packages are constructed in a way that automatically include any and all possible travel I will do in order to document your day.

What is your editing style?
Part of what I offer in the packages is full planning assistance. This includes helping you create the vision for your day and guiding you on all the moving parts so you can have the experience of a lifetime. As your elopement photographer, I'll be there to help you with everything from A-Z, such as vendors, accommodations and more. The only thing I don't do is maintain the communication on your behalf with outside vendors unless it is required.
My editing style is consistent with what you see on my website and instagram. Since every session is different based on location, weather, lighting, etc- I hand edit every image from your day for consistency. If it's a bright and sunny day, you'll see some photos are naturally going to be warmer versus photos from a darker or rainy day may be cooler toned. My inspiration for my work is heavily influenced by film and the nostalgia it embodies.

I use the term guide because I am here to guide you throughout the elopement planning process. I'm here help with everything under the sun for making your day go off without a hitch!
I am not a certified outdoor guide, however can assist with directing you to professional guides for things you might want to do on your elopement such as skydiving, rafting, climbing and more. I firmly believe that you should only work with a certified professional for these kind of activities as they can be high-risk and well.. nobody wants a trip to the hospital on their wedding day!
