Olympic Peninsula Intimate Wedding in Port Angeles, Washington
This day was extremely special for not just the couple but also myself. I met J & S last year when they reached out to me to photograph their wedding and engagement session. Last winter, J let me know that her mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness and they were going to be moving their date forward because there was no way she was going to get married without her mom there. We kicked our planning into high gear and they decided they wanted something as intimate as possible with their closest family and friends to cherish the time they had together. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to be able to support them through the planning and an honor to be able to capture their special day. J opted in for a first look with her mom which had me in tears and it was truly one of the most meaningful encounters I had the joy of witnessing.
