Bend, Oregon Elopement
If you’re getting married and thinking about postponing your wedding due to COVID, you should consider having an elopement. Many couples are being forced to either postpone their date to the following year or celebrate their love in a different way. R + D originally planned on having their wedding at Loloma Lodge, however with the Oregon wildfires that happened this summer, they quickly had to switch to their backup plan. The couple celebrated their love by having their fall elopement in bend, Oregon.
The couple celebrated with their closest loved ones with an intimate backyard wedding at one of their relatives house. The house was freaking gorgeous with the most epic views overlooking the Deschutes River. When most couples hear elopement, they assume running off to Vegas and getting married in secret. Having an elopement instead of a traditional wedding means that you get to celebrate the way you want to, and focus on what matters most to you. Your day is free to spend doing what you love with your partner and truly allows you to pick and choose what your day includes. Elopements don’t have to be just the two of you, it can mean celebrating with a small handful of people or 30-50 of your closest friends and family. While their original plans changed, their day was still dreamy as ever as they celebrated their love + commitment to one another.
